Precision for the most exacting requirements
From 2006 onwards, the combination of engineering, high-end printed circuit boards and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) gives us access to projects with the highest quality and reliability requirements. In this way, we continue to expand our presence in medical technology, research and Aerospace & Defence.
In 2007, to meet these requirements in the long term, we expand our expertise in microelectronics and high-end substrates through the acquisition of Reinhardt Microtech and RHe Microsystems GmbH. New production capabilities in Asia support international growth. This pays off: in the same year, our group revenue exceeds CHF 200 million for the first time.
In 2008, we prove ourselves in some of the most demanding research and space projects of the time. Highly specialised printed circuit boards from Cicor are used in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, in the APEX telescope and in the Herschel space telescope. In this way, we demonstrate that we can truly meet the highest requirements in terms of precision and reliability.
We have proven our abilities in highly demanding applications by combining our expertise – just in time, as uncertainty on international markets soon begins to grow.
